Full job description

Skilled Fabricator

RENOWN GROUP has an immediate permanent position for skilled fabricators working within the Renown Group of companies.

The role will involve:

Working from engineering drawings to tight tolerances and deadlines.
Fabricating components from 3mm to 50mm steel section & plate
Operating MIG welding equipment
Operating overhead cranes to assist with the assembly
Working alone or as part of a team
Working overtime when required
Working shifts when required

All applicants must be competent operating all the following. If you do not meet all of these requirements you will not be considered:

Operating sheet metal equipment such as press tools / guillotine etc.
Operating MIG welding equipment
The ability to mark out and fabricate without fixtures

The following skills are desirable but not essential.

TIG welding
Fork Lift licence
First Aid Training

All successful applicants shall be means tested prior to employment.

Dayshift - 4 day working week.

Mon-Thurs 7am till 16.45pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £18.02 per hour
