We're looking for a detail-oriented Disputes Clerk to join our Treasury Operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys investigating issues, analysing information and working with data to reach informed decisions.

The Opportunity
As a Disputes Clerk, you'll play a key role in investigating ATM cash withdrawal and deposit claims, reviewing transaction data and supporting the resolution of customer disputes. You'll work closely with payment schemes, banking systems and internal stakeholders to determine whether claims should be accepted or declined based on supporting evidence.
This is a role that combines investigation, analysis and administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys getting to the root of a problem and working with accuracy and attention to detail.
What You'll Be DoingInvestigation & Analysis
- Investigate ATM withdrawal and deposit disputes
- Review transaction records, ATM journals, system logs and reconciliation reports
- Analyse evidence and determine appropriate claim outcomes
- Identify ATM errors, cash discrepancies and operational issues
- Escalate unusual, high-risk or potentially fraudulent cases
Claims Management
- Maintain accurate investigation records and supporting documentation
- Prepare evidence submissions and responses for banks and payment schemes
- Ensure claims are resolved within required deadlines and service levels
- Support the management of disputed and escalated cases
Financial Processing & Reconciliations
- Assist with payment processing for approved claims
- Support financial reconciliations and discrepancy investigations
- Help maintain accurate financial records and journals
- Escalate unreconciled differences for further review
Continuous Improvement
- Support reporting and performance analysis
- Identify trends and recurring issues
- Contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiencies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Treasury Operations

Essential Skills & Experience

✔ Comfortable working with numbers, data and systems
✔ Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

✔ Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Desirable Experience
- Administration, banking, finance or customer service experience
- Reconciliation or transaction-processing experience
- Investigation or problem-solving experience
- Experience working with financial or operational data
