Full job description

Glasallt Fawr is looking for a reliable and organised Finance Assistant to support the smooth running of our finance function. This is a varied role working closely with the CFO and supporting key processes including bank reconciliations, petty cash, purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll and accounts preparation.

The successful candidate will have good attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work accurately with financial information. Experience with Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll would be an advantage.

Main Duties

. Completing monthly bank reconciliations.

· Recording and reconciling petty cash.

· Posting purchase invoices and payments onto Sage.

· Preparing resident fee calculations and sales invoices.

· Posting receipts and supporting credit control.

· Processing payroll.

· Assisting with monthly management accounts, year-end accounts and audit preparation.

About You

. Previous finance, accounts or bookkeeping experience.

· Good working knowledge of Sage, Excel and general office systems.

· Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

· Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

· Trustworthy, discreet and professional when handling confidential information.

· A positive and helpful approach to working as part of a team.

Pay: £14.43 per hour
