We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our vibrant bar environment. this is a very busy site with multiple floors so great organisational skills will be needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the bar team to ensure efficient service delivery and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee food preparation and ensure all beverages are prepared according to company standards.
- Manage daily operations, including stock control, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with cooking and food production when necessary, supporting the culinary team during busy periods.
- Train and mentor team members to develop their skills in serving, hospitality, and food safety practices.
- Ensure the bar area is organised, clean, and well-stocked at all times.
- Monitor customer interactions to maintain a welcoming atmosphere and resolve any issues promptly.
- Implement health and safety procedures in line with legal requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with management to plan promotions or special events that enhance guest experience.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or bar environment.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards.
- Experience in team management or leadership roles within hospitality settings.
- Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations is desirable.
- Previous experience working as a barista or in serving roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry regulations and best practices in food safety.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
