The Role:
At Kinetico, we need great people. That’s why we’re looking for a reliable, organised, and customer-focused Warehouse Technician to join our growing team. The Warehouse Technician is an important role within Kinetico UK’s Operations function, supporting the delivery of high-quality products and services. The role ensures that products are built, tested, and processed efficiently, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational performance.
Working closely with Warehouse, Technical, and Customer Service teams, the role supports the smooth running of the supply chain, maintains quality standards, and ensures timely processing of warranty returns, helping to uphold Kinetico’s reputation for reliability and excellence.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Warehouse Operations & Efficiency
o Support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
o Assist with goods handling, storage, and movement in line with operational procedures.
o Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
o Ensure accurate stock handling and adherence to warehouse processes and controls.
o Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Product Assembly & Modification
o Build and assemble products to required specifications and quality standards.
o Carry out modifications and alterations to ensure products meet UK market requirements.
o Ensure all builds are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with technical guidelines.
o Identify and escalate any issues with product quality or specifications.
Testing & Quality Control
o Conduct testing of products to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance with standards.
o Carry out inspection and testing of returned goods under warranty.
o Diagnose faults and identify root causes of product failures.
o Ensure all testing processes are completed consistently and documented accurately.
o Maintain high standards of quality control across all activities.
Warranty Returns & Reporting
o Process returned goods in line with warranty procedures and SLAs.
o Produce clear, accurate reports detailing findings, faults, and root causes.
o Communicate outcomes effectively to internal teams and external customers where required.
o Ensure timely turnaround of warranty inspections in line with performance targets.
o Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and trends.
SLA & KPI Performance
o Work to defined service level agreements for build, testing, and returns processing.
o Meet and exceed key performance indicators relating to quality, turnaround time, and accuracy.
o Monitor personal performance and contribute to team performance improvements.
o Support the achievement of operational targets and service standards.
Health, Safety & Compliance
o Follow all health & safety policies and procedures within the warehouse and testing environment.
o Ensure safe handling of products, tools, and equipment.
o Maintain compliance with operational processes and quality standards.
o Report any hazards, incidents, or risks in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience:
Education
- Technical or vocational qualification (desirable but not essential).
Professional Experience
- Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or technical environment (preferred).
- Experience in product assembly, testing, or quality control (advantageous).
- Experience handling returns, warranty processes, or fault diagnosis (beneficial).
- Experience working to SLAs and performance targets.
Technical Skills
- Basic mechanical or technical understanding of products and systems.
- Ability to follow technical instructions, build specifications, and testing procedures.
- Competent with Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
- Experience using warehouse or inventory systems (advantageous).
Additional Assets
- Experience in water treatment, plumbing, or similar technical products (advantageous).
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
- Willingness to support across different operational tasks as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £29,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
