The role

Want to help the nation hear clearer than ever? Well, as an Audiology Practitioner at Specsavers, you can work alongside your partners and colleagues to help more customers with their hearing, faster. You can train to completion with the support of a Hearing Aid Dispenser (HAD), and then eventually have the chance to move on to other roles within the store or wider business. Here, your opportunities are endless. You will be trained to do wax removals using microsuction, with the potential to complete more of our AP course in the future.

We are especially keen to speak with candidates who have a Wax removals (microsuction) qualification.

Our store

In this role, you will be required to work in the Hub in Romford but also across our spokes in Romford, Hornchurch, Dagenham, Ilford, Stratford and Barkingside.

Starting salary of £26,853 for non experienced and up to £33,000 for someone quaified
Full-time: 40 hours per week worked over 5 days and will include working every weekend

Find out more

While we don’t need you to have a degree or any specific qualifications to enrol on this programme, we do need you to have a few skills to get started here. Firstly, you’ll need to have good written and verbal English skills, so we know you can communicate effectively with our customers and colleagues. You’ll also need to have a keen interest in self-development, desire to further your skills, and then ideally a fluency in use of patient management systems such (but don’t worry if you don’t have that last one).
