We are looking for reliable and hardworking people to join our team, working 28 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out daily checks on the health and welfare of the birds.
- Monitoring feed and water and ensuring equipment is functioning correctly.
- Collecting, sorting, and packing eggs
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and biosecurity within the sheds.
- Carrying out general housekeeping duties.
- Monitoring environmental controls, including ventilation, temperature and lighting.
- Reporting any health, welfare or equipment issues promptly.
- Assisting with bird movement and other flock management tasks as required.
What We're Looking For:
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to animal welfare.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Reliability, punctuality and flexibility, including weekend work.
- Previous poultry or agricultural experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- A full UK driving licence - own transport essential
