Full job description

Overview

We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic and professional Event Bar Staff to join our team at an outdoor event on: Friday 21st August, Saturday 22nd August and Sunday 23rd August ( approx hours will be 2pm - 10pm on each of the days )

This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively environment, ensuring guests enjoy their experience while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and refreshments to guests in a courteous and timely manner
Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol licensing regulations
Assist in setting up and packing down event spaces as required
Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and safety
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during events
Provide friendly, attentive service to enhance guest experience

Requirements

Previous bar experience is required
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional manner
Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
A personable attitude with a genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service
Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
