Derby Homes are an organisation owned by Derby City Council who manage and maintain approximately 12,500 properties in Derby employing over 600 members of staff. The diverse workforce covers office based and mobile workers including housing management teams, specialist support workers and a repairs and maintenance team.
You will be part of a team that helps complete over 40,000 repairs a year, coordinating across the different teams within Repairs & Maintenance and the wider organisations.
We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused individual who is motivated and an enthusiastic team player to join our Resources Team that has social housing and/or building maintenance related experience, with good knowledge of building construction and how our trades work. We're looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the confidence to take ownership of challenges and resolve them effectively. You'll be positive, approachable, and thrive in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships while contributing to the success of the wider team.
In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering an exceptional service to both our customers, colleagues and sub-contractors ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism, efficiency, and care.
