Parts/Warehouse Operative
We are looking for an experienced Parts/Warehouse Operative who is a good team player and will be a champion for customer service delivery through the efficient coordination of warehouse stock. As the Parts/Warehouse Operative you will have the ability to understand the necessity of customer service and work to deadlines.
Main Duties include:
- Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts
- Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner;
- Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge;
- Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also checking stock is stored in the allocated bin locations.
- Driving a delivery van when quired
The ideal candidate will have a great track record working in a fast paced warehouse environment.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Must have 5+ years of experience working in a parts department
- Computer literate – able to use appropriate systems and software e.g. Excel
- Ability to record information accurately and legibly
- Ability to work well under pressure
- A good team player
- Work efficiently with good attention to detail
- Understand the necessity of customer service & working to deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry would be desirable
- A full clean driving licence
- Be able to lift and carry heavy items
