Multi-Skilled Gas Engineer / PlumberJob Overview
We're looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Gas Engineer / Plumber to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident working independently and has experience across a variety of domestic plumbing and heating work. We're looking for someone who can carry out boiler installations, bathroom installations, boiler breakdowns, servicing, fault finding, and general property maintenance to a high standard.
We provide press-fit tools for installation plumbing and heating work to improve efficiency, although occasional soldering may still be required.
Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (including a one-hour lunch break).
Any hours worked outside of these times will be paid as overtime at an enhanced rate.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair domestic gas and plumbing systems.
- Carry out full boiler installations and heating upgrades.
- Diagnose and repair boiler breakdowns and faults.
- Install complete bathroom suites.
- Carry out servicing and landlord gas safety inspections.
- Undertake general plumbing repairs and maintenance.
- Complete general property maintenance where required.
- Conduct gas safety checks and ensure all work complies with current regulations.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional appearance.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds current Gas Safe qualifications.
- Has experience with boiler installations, breakdowns, servicing and fault finding.
- Is competent in bathroom installations and general plumbing.
- Is multi-skilled and happy to undertake general maintenance tasks when required.
- Is well presented, punctual, polite and proactive.
- Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
- Manages their time efficiently and works well independently.
- Keeps their work van clean and organised.
- Provides their own hand tools.
