Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in diverse settings, including commercial, healthcare, and hospitality environments. The ideal applicant will be organised, reliable, and attentive to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces in designated areas.
Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and other communal spaces according to health and safety standards.
Handle specialised cleaning duties in hospital or healthcare settings as required, including disinfection procedures.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used efficiently and stored properly.
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or contamination.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities to the appropriate personnel.
Adhere to client-specific instructions and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the premises, paying close attention to detail.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
Experience working in hospital or healthcare environments is advantageous.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
