As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, high-quality and person-centred care and support to residents living within the Home. Working closely with nursing, care and wider multidisciplinary teams, you'll help promote dignity, independence, wellbeing and positive daily experiences while contributing to a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
Resident Care & Wellbeing
- Provide compassionate, high-quality and person-centred care tailored to individual resident needs.
- Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, hydration and daily living activities.
- Promote dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing at all times.
- Observe and report changes in residents' wellbeing appropriately.
Meaningful Engagement & Daily Living Support
- Support residents to participate in meaningful activities and positive daily experiences.
- Encourage confidence, independence and social engagement.
- Assist residents to maintain routines, preferences and individual interests.
- Help create a welcoming, safe and inclusive Home environment.
Teamwork & Communication
- Work collaboratively with nursing, care, activities, catering, housekeeping and wider teams.
- Participate positively in handovers and team communication.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents, families and visitors.
- Escalate concerns, incidents or safeguarding matters appropriately.
Safety & Professional Standards
- Deliver care in accordance with care plans and organisational policies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Follow safeguarding, infection prevention, moving and handling and health and safety procedures.
- Contribute to a culture of professionalism, accountability and continuous improvement.
