We are looking for another Credit Controller to join our expanding team!
Hours:-
Monday – Friday Rota - 08.30 – 17.00; 09.00 – 17.30 & 09.30am – 18.00pm
30 minutes for lunch
Total 40 hours per week – No hybrid working
Salary:-£28,200 per year
Job Purpose:
Manage the Company’s debts and mitigate un-necessary risk
Key Responsibilities:
¨ Reviewing debtor list on a daily basis.
¨ Sharing debtor list with Telesales Agents on 10th of the month, including commentary on status of accounts, and those accounts who may go on stop due to non-payment on 16th month.
¨ Sharing debtor list with Telesales Agents on 16th month displaying all those accounts who are on stop due to non-payment.
¨ Chasing debt by telephone and email and reducing debtor days.
¨ Processing and generating reminder letters, producing ledger statements.
¨ Liaising with the sales and accounts receivable teams to resolve outstanding queries.
¨ Ensuring that all major accounts work to agreed order to cash cycle.
¨ Daily and month end reporting and account reconciliations
¨ Taking card payments.
¨ Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices.
¨ Any other ad hoc duties as required
Role requirements:
· Some previous experience of working in an office-based environment, preferably in a finance or Customer Service department with exposure to credit control.
· GSCE English & Maths.
· Good attention to detail.
· Strong analytical skills.
· The ability to work to strict deadlines.
· Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
· Great organisational skills.
· This position would suit an individual who is driven by results.
