We are now looking for a Recovery Coordinator to join our East Sussex service—someone who can bring skill, empathy, and professionalism to support people on their recovery journey.

This role requires a balance of clinical awareness, strong organisation, and genuine compassion.

Where: East Sussex
Hours: 3 ½ days per week.
Contract: Permanent Contract

Please note: Due to the nature of this role covering the East Sussex area, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle with appropriate business insurance, as travel to our rural hubs is required.

Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities:

About the role

This is a role where your work directly impacts people’s lives.

As a Recovery Coordinator, you will take the lead in coordinating personalised recovery journeys, supporting individuals affected by drug and/or alcohol use to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.

You will:

Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop tailored recovery and support plans
Manage a caseload, providing structured one-to-one and group-based interventions
Support individuals to engage with treatment options, services, and wider recovery opportunities
Proactively manage risk and reduce harm, ensuring safe and effective interventions
Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners
Maintain accurate, timely and compliant record keeping and reporting
Support individuals to build resilience, independence, and long-term recovery goals

About you

You are motivated by making a difference and confident in working in a dynamic, person-centred environment.

You will bring:

Experience of managing caseloads and supporting individuals with complex needs
A strong understanding of substance misuse, harm reduction, and recovery approaches
Knowledge of mental health interventions and best practice
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Confidence in working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to work independently
