Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Yo Sushi Kiosk Team Member and become the face of an exciting, fast-paced dining experience! In this role, you will be the friendly, energetic presence that ensures our guests enjoy fresh, delicious sushi served with a smile. You’ll be responsible for preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service in a lively kiosk environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our guests while supporting smooth operations behind the scenes. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable restaurant experience in a dynamic setting.This role will cover three locations.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sushi and other menu items following established recipes and safety standards
Serve customers efficiently at the kiosk, taking orders with enthusiasm and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to keep the kiosk running smoothly
Provide friendly, attentive service by answering questions about menu options and dietary preferences
Assist in maintaining a welcoming environment by adhering to health protocols and ensuring food quality at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
Knowledge of food safety practices and basic kitchen operations
Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
Ability to perform basic math for handling transactions and portioning ingredients accurately
Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
Experience in serving or upselling menu items is a plus but not mandatory
Culinary or kitchen experience can be an advantage for those interested in developing their skills further
