Pay Rate: £36,500 to £42,000
Grade: M
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: any 5 from 7 Rotational Shifts hours to be discussed at Interview
Location: Gloucester

We're now looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead our operations and drive success.
If you're a proactive leader with a passion for logistics, we want you on our team!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Supervise and lead warehouse operatives during the shift, ensuring all picking, packing, loading, and dispatch activities run efficiently.
Allocate and manage workloads to meet daily targets, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and on-time order fulfilment.
Monitor warehouse performance and resolve operational issues such as delays, stock discrepancies, or equipment problems in real time.
Ensure strict compliance with health & safety procedures, company policies, and warehouse operating standards at all times.
Communicate with warehouse management and other departments at shift handover, providing updates on performance, issues, and completed tasks.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Strong leadership and team management skills, with a minimum of 12 month's experience supervising or leading a warehouse or logistics team.
Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight operational deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of health & safety regulations, ensuring full compliance and maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to operational issues under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate between warehouse staff, transport teams, and management to ensure smooth operations.
