Plasma Operator CNC

Full time, permanent position available with an immediate start.

Due to company growth are recruiting a CNC Plasma Operator, preferably with experience operating plasma cutters, forklift and overhead cranes.

The Company:

World Leaders in welding and robot manipulation.
Able to provide bespoke solutions to a World Class Customer Base.
We design and manufacture high precision mechanical products for use in the production of wind turbines, the nuclear and defence sectors, general engineering, and oil and gas industries.
Our machining is working mainly with ferrous but some non-ferrous metals, working to high precision tolerances.
Progressive forward thinking and expanding due to growth.

The Job:

The main role will be operating a CNC plasma cutting machine.
Loading and unloading steel plate and cut components.
Checking part quality.
Basic machine maintenance.
Nesting of parts to CAM soft wear – training will be given.
Assisting with production, logistics and other general duties.

Essential attributes:

Forklift truck license / experience
Honest and reliable
Self-motivated
Physically fit
Experience in the use of power tools
Good communication skills
A flexible approach to working hours
Monday – Thursday 8am - 5pm. Fridays 7:30am - 4pm.

Holiday entitlement – 20 days + 8 bank holidays (+1 birthday holiday).

The company has a shutdown over the Christmas period.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
