Job Title: HR Administrator
Reporting to: Pay and Benefits Manager
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a HR Administrator to join our HR team in Elgin.
This is a full time, permanent post working Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 12 pm (38 hours per week). Different working hours may be considered for the right candidate.
The annual salary for this role is £26,577 per annum.
Training and growth opportunities are encouraged within the team with the opportunity for you to gain professional qualifications, such as CIPD, is available.
About the Role
Acting as the first point of contact in a busy and fast paced environment you will provide vital administrative support to the HR team across the full employee life cycle, including but not limited to –
- Processing new starters, leavers, and changes to employee records, ensuring all documentation and HR system is updated accurately and in a timely manner.
- Preparing employment contracts, offer letters, and other employment documentation.
- Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of employee data by updating HR system, personnel files and trackers
- Acting as a first point of contact for routine HR enquiries, liaising with employees, managers, and external organisations via telephone, email, and in person.
- Coordinate and administer HR projects and initiatives, including annual immunisation clinics, retail sale ticket administration, and other employee engagement activities.
- Undertake general administrative duties to support the efficient operation of the HR department.
About you
Our ideal candidate will -
- Have previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a HR or similar function
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office and be computer and data literate
- Have strong interpersonal skills with people at all levels
- Be able to plan and prioritise your own workload and deal with conflicting deadlines
- Be proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Be able to manage highly sensitive and confidential information
