The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Duties
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Process accounts payable, including verifying invoices and preparing payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and budgets.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Utilise accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks for efficient record-keeping.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues across various departments.
