We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated Petrol Station Manager to oversee the daily operations of our petrol station. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the store, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient fuel dispensing, store management, and facility upkeep.
Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of attendants, cashiers, and maintenance staff to deliver exceptional service.
lnventory Expertise: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and keep a well-stocked fuel and convenience store.
Customer Focus: Provide top-notch customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Safety Champion: Enforce safety protocols, from hazardous materials storage to fire safety measures and emergency response procedures.
Financial Oversight: Monitor sales, expenses, and profit margins, preparing accurate financial reports.
Strategic Sales: Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales, promote loyalty programs, and attract new patrons.
Facility Excellence: Ensure the station's cleanliness, oversee maintenance tasks, and coordinate repairs.
Detailed Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of fuel deliveries, transactions, inventory, and financial activities.
Regulatory Adherence: Stay up-to-date with environmental regulations, health standards, and industry requirements.
Budget Management: Create and manage budgets, controlling costs while maximizing revenue opportunities.
Empowerment Through Training: Provide continuous training to staff in safety, customer service, and operational procedures.
Emergency Response: Lead the team during emergencies, adhering to established protocols for spills, accidents, and power outages.
Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competition, and market changes to make informed decisions.
Motivational Leadership: Foster a positive work environment, inspire the team, and promote a culture of teamwork.
Technical Troubleshooting: Address technical challenges related to fuel pumps, point-of-sale systems, and equipment.
Customer Relations: Build strong customer relationships, attend to their needs, and gather valuable feedback. Strategic Planning: Develop long-term plans to enhance station performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Regulatory Awareness: Stay updated on fuel quality standards, environmental regulations, and safety practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a petrol station and off-license store setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Good financial acumen and experience managing budgets, sales, and inventory.
Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory compliance in the fuel and retail sectors.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Valid driver’s license (preferred but not essential).

NOTE - RIGHT TO WORK REQUIRED IN UK

WEEKLY - 37.5 hours

Pay: £30,000.00-£39,700.00 per year
