We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Air Conditioning Installation Apprentice to join our growing installation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in air conditioning whilst gaining a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification.
You will work alongside our experienced installation engineers, learning how to install air conditioning systems safely, professionally and to a high standard. Every day is different, with work taking place in homes, offices and commercial premises across the local area and further afield.
This is a practical, hands-on role. You will become a valued member of the team, helping with all stages of installation while developing the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for a successful career in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting experienced engineers with the installation of air conditioning systems
- Helping to prepare sites, tools, equipment and materials for installation works
- Assisting with pipework, containment, cabling, trunking and condensate drainage works
- Supporting the safe handling, movement and positioning of equipment
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe at all times
- Learning to read drawings, follow installation instructions and use tools safely
- Helping to complete job paperwork and maintain company equipment
- Representing SFE Services professionally when working at client sites
Apprenticeship & Training
You will study for a Level 3 Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Technician Apprenticeship through the College of North West London.
You will be required to attend the college in Willesden 1 day per week during term time. The remainder of your working week will be spent gaining practical experience with our installation team and applying your learning in a real workplace environment.
Your college day will support your development through classroom learning, coursework, assignments and further technical training.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- A full UK driving licence
- Must live locally to High Wycombe or surrounding area
- Comfortable working in a practical, site-based environment and working as part of a team
- Reliable, organised and professional approach to work
- Good practical awareness and an interest in construction, engineering or building services
- Previous construction or trade experience would be beneficial, but is not essential
- A minimum grade 4 in English & Math GCSE
