Main Responsibilities

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

Provide a high quality timely ultrasound service for our scan department.
Manipulate and positioning of expensive ultrasound equipment in order to produce high quality images.
Producing report based on the ultrasound image
Communicate the results to the patient and other healthcare professionals.

The Ideal Candidate

What we look for in new colleagues:

We are a busy ultrasound department within a GP practice looking for a conscientious general Sonographer to join our team
Qualified and experienced to scan abdominal, renal, gynae (including transvaginal scans) and testes
Good communication skills are also required with the ability to counsel patients and liaise with other healthcare professionals, GP’s and administrative team.
