MJS is a family-owned construction and property company based in Peterborough. Unlike most developers, we don't just build and sell — we build and keep. Our rental portfolio spans apartment blocks, standard lets, holiday lets in Norfolk, and our own offices at MJS House, and we're growing it significantly over the next six years.

The role
We're looking for an experienced Property Coordinator to join our property management team and help us keep pace with that growth. You'll be the point person for keeping our properties running smoothly — logging issues, chasing them down, and making sure repairs happen properly and on budget.
Day to day, you'll:
- Log and manage reported maintenance issues through our CRM, from first report to resolution
- Identify root causes, organise repairs, and monitor costs against budget
- Work with our appointed managing agents on move-out property checks, end-of-tenancy damages, charges, and repairs
- Oversee safety checks and support Fire Safety Order compliance across our apartment blocks
- Handle day-to-day block management for our apartment buildings
- Be the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and colleagues — keeping everyone informed and issues moving
What you'll bring
Essential:
- At least 2 years' experience in property letting or property management
- At least 1 year in a customer service role
- Strong organisational skills — you can juggle multiple open issues without dropping any
- Clear, confident communicator, in writing and on the phone
- A full, valid driving licence and your own car (you'll be visiting properties across the portfolio)
Nice to have:
- Experience with property management CRM
- Experience with block/apartment management specifically
