Clearview Glaziers are a leading supplier and installers of high quality windows, doors, and glass products. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Window Fitter to join our installation team. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a long-term career in the window and door installation industry, learning on the job while supporting experienced fitters on residential and commercial projects.
Full training will be provided for the right candidate, with opportunities to develop skills and progress within an industry leading company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of windows and doors
- Support experienced fitters on-site with preparation and installation tasks
- Load, unload, and handle materials and tools safely
- Prepare work areas and help remove existing frames
- Assist with sealing, finishing, and site clean-up
- Follow instructions carefully and maintain high standards of workmanship
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Required Skills & Attributes:
- Strong willingness to learn and develop practical skills
- Good attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Previous construction or labouring experience beneficial but not essential
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, Saturdays on rota
Salary:
£28,000 – £32,000 p/a
