We are seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. We have part-time and full-time opportunities available at our St Ives and Somersham Sites. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a busy clinical environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to utilise their nursing skills and contribute positively to patient outcomes. The Practice Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive treatment room services, supporting long-term condition management, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinical activities.
Responsibilities
- Long-term condition reviews
- Diabetes management (desirable but not essential)
- Respiratory reviews (desirable but not essential)
- Minor illness (desirable but not essential)
- Cervical screening
- Childhood immunisations
- Immunisation and vaccinations
- Travel vaccinations
- Complex dressings
- Contraception and family planning
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar primary care setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to general practice nursing
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
- Familiarity with clinical procedures, infection control, and health & safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience with electronic medical record systems is desirable but not essential

Pay: £37,151.00-£48,884.00 per year
