Schedule: Monday to Friday 8AM till 5-6PM Finish start time may need to be earlier if driving.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable Store Person / Relief Driver to join our team. This is a predominantly stores-focused position with driving duties integrated to support our multi-drop operations and cover holiday periods. The Role
Your week will be split between managing our busy warehouse operations and stepping into the driver's seat to deliver our insulation products across the region.
Warehouse Duties (Primary):
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare insulation orders for dispatch.
- Logistics Support: Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing company vehicles.
- Goods Inbound: Check incoming stock against delivery notes, ensuring absolute accuracy and reporting any discrepancies.
- Inventory & Upkeep: Drive forklifts (in-house training provided) and maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Driving Duties (Relief & Cover):
- Multi-Drop Delivery: Execute local multi-drop deliveries as well as longer runs into London and the surrounding Home Counties.
- Holiday Cover: Step in as a dedicated backup driver to ensure service continuity when our main transit drivers are on annual leave.
- Vehicle Care: Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and ensure goods are secured firmly before departure.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience working in a warehouse environment and confident commercial van driving experience.
- Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence required).
- Physical Capability: Insulation and building products can be bulky and heavy; you must be physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting.
- Forklift Skills: Prior forklift experience is preferable, but full in-house training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Attributes: Reliable, flexible with shifting daily tasks, a strong team player, and an effective English-speaking communicator.
- Logistics: Located within a reliable commuting distance of our depot in Stanton Harcourt.
