Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our friendly local run dental practice. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in patient care, dental procedures, and administrative duties within a professional environment. Duties
- Assisting the dental team with patient care before, during, and after treatments
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Welcoming patients, checking them in, and managing appointment schedules efficiently
- Providing information to patients regarding treatments and post-treatment care
- Maintaining accurate patient records using IT systems
- Supporting administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and handling enquiries
- Ensuring the practice maintains a clean, organised, and welcoming environment
- Assisting with stock management and ordering supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of patient care principles and a genuine interest in healthcare
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Prior experience or knowledge of nursing or healthcare is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Proficiency in IT systems and basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Strong organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain accurate records
- Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills within the dental sector

Once qualified, you will be able to learn new skills and work with a number of our specialists on site. to develop your skills further and grow within the practice.
Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour
