ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for experienced Groundwork Handymen (Temporary) to join our team on a busy project in New Romney. You will play a key role in supporting drainage works ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Duration: 1 Week
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES-
Laying and installing drainage pipes (clay, plastic and concrete)

Setting out and working to levels and falls from drawings and laser equipment
-
Installing manholes, chambers and associated drainage structures
-
Benching, concreting and surrounding pipework
-
Carrying out deep drainage and trench work
-
Ensuring correct alignment and gradient of pipelines
-
Working closely with machine operators and groundwork teams
-
Reading and interpreting drawings and technical specifications
-
Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times
REQUIREMENTS-
CSCS Card (essential)
-
Proven experience in drainage
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
-
Strong awareness of site health & safety requirements
-
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
-
Right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE-
CSCS Skilled Worker Blue Card(essential)

Proven experience as a Pipelayer in drainage and groundworks
-
Strong understanding of drainage systems, levels and gradients
-
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
-
Good awareness of site health & safety practices
-
Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
