The Role
We’re seeking an SEO & Content Specialist who excels at crafting high-quality, engaging copy for websites and is eager to grow their skills in SEO. You’ll work closely with our development team, who handle technical SEO, and with our Retained Service Director who will guide your strategic development. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about writing to take the next step in their career by learning how to optimise content for search engines and develop SEO strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit compelling, SEO-friendly website content, blogs, and landing pages.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure content aligns with technical SEO best practices.
- Conduct basic keyword research to inform content creation.
- Assist in analysing website performance and identifying opportunities for content improvements.
- Learn and apply SEO strategies, including on-page optimisation and competitor analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends and contribute fresh ideas to improve content performance.
About You
- Experience: Proven experience in copywriting, particularly for websites.
- Skills: Strong writing and editing skills, with a focus on engaging and persuasive content.
- SEO Knowledge: An understanding of SEO principles is a bonus, but a genuine interest in learning is essential.
- Website Experience: Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and website content workflows.
- Collaborative: Comfortable working with developers and strategists to achieve shared goals.
- Curious & Adaptable: Eager to grow and learn new skills, especially in SEO.
- Organised: Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
