Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber/Bathroom Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and bathroom fixtures across various commercial and residential sites. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing and bathroom fitting projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mechanical skills while working on diverse projects that make a real difference in people's properties.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances in both new builds and existing structures
Fit bathrooms by installing bathtubs, sinks, toilets, showers, and related hardware with precision and care
Use hand tools, power tools and carpentry skills to complete tasks effectively
Conduct inspections to identify issues with plumbing systems and recommend appropriate solutions
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure smooth workflow on-site
Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues
Read blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical diagrams to accurately execute installation plans

Skills

Proficiency in plumbing techniques combined with mechanical knowledge of piping systems
Experience with welding, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools
Strong understanding of carpentry principles relevant to bathroom fitting projects
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various work environments
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations
Knowledge of safety standards related to plumbing work and construction sites
