Full job description

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team at our facility in Montrose, UK. Role:

As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our machining capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our customers. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving innovation and excellence in precision machining.

Responsibilities:

Set, operate and program CNC Machines.
Ability to work safely and comply with all HSE procedures.
Clearly read and understand B.O.M. & drawing instructions.
Produce components to a high standard of Quality.
Maintain full material traceability.
Complete documentation to a high standard.
Maintain high housekeeping standards.
Promote company values at all times.
Assist in training where and when necessary.
Ensure customer requirements are being achieved.
Ensure best works practices are employed.

Requirements:

Time served Machine Operator
Experienced in operating Horizontal Boring Machines or Horizontal Machining Centers or Multitasking Lathes.
Able to work in both Metric & Imperial units.
Computer literate.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to be proactive and problem solve with own initiative.
Able to work individually and as part of a team.
Enthusiastic, positive attitude, good time keeping and attendance, self-motivated.
City and Guilds in Engineering / NC in engineering / or equivalent

4 on/ 4 off shift pattern
Additional shift premiums- 40% for 4on/4off shift pattern
