Full job description

Full Time Qualified Practitioner

Our normal contract is for 4 days a week (37 hours) - 8am to 6pm with 1 x 15 min break and half hour for lunch.
Weekly Day off is flexible.
£13.45 per hr from January 2026 (25,878.00)
£15.45 per hr (for worked hours over 37hrs a week)
Twice yearly bonus of £500 (May and November pro rata)

Why You?

You will be someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and who is enthusiastic about developing your practice. Ideally you will have a number of years experience.

You must be qualified with an HNC or SVQ3 in Childcare and Education or an equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting.
Develop and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood learning and development.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive environment.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and organised nursery environment.

Your day off varies and you can request days off for appointments, family reasons etc, which allows for a better life/work balance.
