Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting dentists during various procedures. This position requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are readily available.
Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to infection control protocols.
Take patient medical histories and record vital signs as required.
Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Manage appointment schedules and maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dental practice.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in dental nursing.

Skills

Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
A genuine passion for patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments effectively.
