Trainee Orthodontic Dental Nurse

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our family-run specialist orthodontic practice as a Trainee Orthodontic Dental Nurse. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a rewarding career in dental nursing.

The successful candidate will provide chairside assistance to our orthodontists, making strong communication and interpersonal skills essential. Applicants should be confident using computer systems, able to work independently when required, and thrive as part of a supportive team in a busy clinical environment.

Essential Requirements:

A minimum of four GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English Language.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Desirable:

Basic computer literacy.

No previous dental nursing experience is required, as comprehensive training, ongoing support, and professional development will be provided. The successful applicant will work towards the National Diploma in Dental Nursing through the NEBDN by attending evening college, enabling them to gain a nationally recognized qualification while working within our practice.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
