We are looking for a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join PVC’s expanding team based at our Warboys depot. You'll play a key role in delivering plumbing supplies to customers across the East of England, providing excellent service while ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.

The Role

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering plumbing supplies to customers throughout the region using our fleet of Mercedes curtain-sided Luton vans.

Key responsibilities include:

Safely operating company vehicles, complying with all road traffic regulations, ensuring all goods are loaded, transported and delivered accurately and on time
Carrying out routine vehicle checks, maintain delivery records and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly
Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
Communicating effectively with warehouse and transport teams
Support warehouse operations as required, including stock organisation and inventory tasks

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Full UK driving licence (up to 3.5 tonnes) with no more than 6 penalty points
Reliable, punctual, and detail-focused with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

Previous van driving or delivery experience
Experience driving Luton vans
Basic vehicle maintenance or mechanical knowledge
Experience working within logistics, distribution, or warehouse environments

Additional Information

Applicants must be able to reliably commute to our Warboys depot and attend an in-person interview.

Employment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including a DBS check and be subject to the Company's insurance requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £28,526.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

Huntingdon PE28 2SH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
