We Are Seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser for a Full-Time Position

Exceptional patient-centred care is at the heart of everything we do. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play a crucial role in helping patients feel good. This involves not only the clear advice and care you offer but also the wide range of dispensing services we provide.

The Importance of Your Role

As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will work across the healthcare counter and the dispensary to meet patients' needs. This is a great opportunity to develop your pharmacy career and make a difference in the lives of our patients.

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

Your role is all about providing health advice through focused conversations with our patients and giving clear and accurate answers.

Key Duties Include:

Tailoring Conversations: Ensure each customer leaves the pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.

Technical Dispensing Tasks: Manage the safe supply of medicines, including ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collection of prescriptions.

Compliance: Adhere to legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice.

Engagement with GPs: Seek opportunities to promote services and items by engaging with GPs and practice teams.

Efficient Operations: Deliver efficient dispensary operations and minimize dispensing losses.

What You’ll Need to Have?

Qualifications: An NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services.

Experience: Current or previous experience working as a Pharmacy Dispenser.

Working Hours

This is a full-time role with working hours from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, including a 1-hour lunch break. You will also be required to work every other Saturday.
