Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to complete projects efficiently
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver results that exceed expectations
- Maintain a safe work environment by following health and safety protocols at all times
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure flawless finishes and address any touch-ups needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or related fields
- Valid driving license for transportation to different job sites
- Strong communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and clients
- Ability to interpret project plans and specifications accurately
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail for precise application of finishes
- Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to construction sites and painting activities
- Willingness to work outdoors or in various environments as required by project scope
- NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in Painting and Decorating (minimum)

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
