About Us

Woven Art is a well-established printing company providing high-quality print solutions to a wide range of customers. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Production Assistant to join our production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the print/production industry and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role

As a Junior Production Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of our production department, ensuring that print jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Please note this is not an apprenticeship, this is a paid full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the setup and operation of printing and finishing equipment.
Preparing materials and paperwork for production runs.
Performing quality checks on printed products.
Packing and preparing completed jobs for dispatch.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Supporting senior production staff with various production tasks.
Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Following company procedures and health & safety regulations at all times.
Manual handling
Machine Maintenance
House Keeping

Skills & Experience Essential

Good attention to detail.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Basic computer literacy.
Reliable and punctual.

Desirable but not Essential:

Previous experience in printing, manufacturing, or production environments.
Knowledge of print finishing processes.
Forklift licence (training may be provided if required).
