Overview

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers valuable hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair within a professional environment. The role is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills and pursue a career in the electrical trade. The position is paid and provides an excellent foundation for future growth in the industry.

Responsibilities

Assist qualified electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
Support the setup of electrical components and wiring according to specifications.
Help with testing electrical circuits and troubleshooting issues.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all tasks.
Learn to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and instructions related to electrical work.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools utilised in electrical work.
Some prior electrical experience or coursework is desirable but not essential; a keen willingness to learn is required.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols.
Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
A valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
