Trainee Coach Driver

EVE Coaches – Dunbar
£15.00 per hour + overtime available

Start Your Career as a Trainee Coach Driver

We’re currently recruiting Trainee Coach Drivers to join our team at our Dunbar garage.

No experience driving coaches? No problem. Our fully funded, in-house training programme will support you every step of the way—helping you gain your PCV licence and start a rewarding new career.

The Role

As a Trainee Coach Driver, you will:

Deliver a variety of journeys, including touring programmes, private hires, day tours, and travel for local groups
Provide excellent customer service and act as an ambassador for EVE Coaches
Ensure journeys are safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for passengers

What We’re Looking For

Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
Maximum 6 penalty points
A customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays

Additional Information

You will be required to attend an interview at the EVE garage.
Successful candidates will complete training at Longstone, Edinburgh (2-3 weeks).
