Preston – Weekend Veterinary Surgeon

At Vets Now, we understand that there’s life beyond the typical 9–5. If you’re looking for additional hours or want to enhance your ECC skills, this weekend role in our Preston clinic could be perfect for you.
This is an excellent opportunity for vets looking to gain hands-on exposure to a varied emergency and critical care caseload while working alongside a supportive and experienced team in a well established ECC environment.
We offer flexible weekend working patterns, with options available to suit your lifestyle.
Shift types include:
- Saturday day: 12:00 – 19:30
- Sunday day: 08:30 – 19:30
- Sunday extended day: 12:00 – 22:00
Weekend rota options:
- 1 in 4 weekends
- 2 in 4 weekends
Plus a share of bank holidays.
These flexible weekend patterns provide excellent ECC exposure while maintaining a predictable and manageable part-time schedule.
Vets Now for Team Support
In the Preston clinic, you’ll find a supportive team of experienced Veterinary Surgeons, skilled Registered Veterinary Nurses, Animal Care Assistants and Receptionists, all working collaboratively to deliver exceptional out-of-hours care.
You’ll benefit from ongoing support and mentorship from experienced ECC clinicians, with plenty of opportunities to develop your skills while working within a welcoming and collaborative team environment.
