Full job description

We are looking to hire a highly driven Administrator to join our Assure Alarms department at our Kilbirnie Street Head Office, in Glasgow.

Hours

Full time: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm

About the role

We’re looking for a positive and enthusiastic individual to provide administrative support to our busy Service department. You will help to deliver excellent customer service while ensuring you issue, receive, and record information in a timely and accurate manner.

This role would suit somebody who has office / admin / helpdesk experience and is looking for a role where they can develop skills in a professional working environment.

Day-to-day duties

Ensure that all appointments are met for the day; this will include booking appointments, engaging with clients, workers and managers of the business.
Record accurate information on works being completed and ensuring appointments are given correct priority.
Allocate the engineer to attend appointments based on skills, availability and locality to the jobs.
Working with your colleagues to ensure all customer needs are met or, more often, exceeded.
Maintaining the company database.
Carry out other tasks and duties as required appropriate to the post.

Essential skills and experience

A positive and enthusiastic individual who enjoys thinking on their feet and using their initiative to problem solve and ensure customers have a positive experience
Ability to prioritise workload and multi-task in a busy environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Have a reasonable proficiency in Microsoft Office
Good team player who ensures that learning is shared among team members
Ability to take direction and be happy to respond to managers’ instructions
Be reliable and dependable
Reactive and proactive problem-solving skills
