Preschool Room Lead (Full Time)

Elephant Moon Day Nursery – Cheltenham

Are you an experienced and passionate Early Years professional looking for your next leadership opportunity? At Elephant Moon Day Nursery, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Preschool Room Lead to join our friendly team.

As an Ofsted Outstanding nursery, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care and education in a warm, nurturing environment where children flourish. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our preschool room, inspire your team, and make a real difference to children’s early learning experiences.

About the Role

As our Preschool Room Lead, you will:

Lead and support the preschool team to deliver outstanding care and education.
Plan and provide engaging, child-led learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
Support children’s learning, development, and school readiness.
Monitor children’s progress through observations and assessments.
Build positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s development.
Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements are always met.
Act as a positive role model, supporting and motivating your colleagues to maintain the highest standards.

What We’re Looking For

A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally within a preschool room.
Leadership or senior practitioner experience is desirable.
A sound knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A caring, enthusiastic, and professional approach with a genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential.
