Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Technology and Business Improvement team in Swansea (hybrid working). As a Data Analyst, you will deliver powerful insights, develop Power BI reporting, and support data-driven decision making across the organisation. If you’re passionate about turning data into action, this Data Analyst opportunity is for you.

Role: Data Analyst
Hours: 35 hours Monday to Friday, Permanent
Pay: £38,700
Location: Swansea, Hybrid
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required

Closing Date: Sunday 12th July 2026 at 23:59pm

Interview Date: Tuesday 28th July 2026

There will be a practical assessment as part of the interview

About the role

As a Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in helping teams make informed, evidence-based decisions. You will:

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities
Support KPI reporting and performance monitoring across the business
Lead on data integrity and continuous improvement initiatives
Deliver clear, impactful insights to stakeholders at all levels
Work collaboratively across departments to enhance business intelligence

This Data Analyst role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, driving improvements, and influencing business performance through data.

About you

To succeed as a Data Analyst, you will have:

Experience using Power BI, SQL, and data reporting tools
Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets
Excellent communication skills to present complex data clearly
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field

We welcome previous experience working as: Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, MI Analyst, Performance Analyst, Insight Analyst, or roles in finance, IT, or research with transferable analytical skills.
