We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, supportive team. More than anything, we're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, values great patient care and wants to be part of a practice where people genuinely look out for each other.
- Our main site is based in Midhurst and we have three smaller branches within a 9 mile radius. We are situated in the beautiful South Downs, a stone throws away from the coast and London, giving the best of both worlds.
- We are an hour from both Heathrow and Gatwick Airport allowing for close transport links to Europe and beyond. Our main branch has recently had our kennels refurbished, having a separate dog and cat ward allowing for improved patient welfare.
- We're proud of the culture we've built. Our vets, nurses and reception team work closely together, sharing ideas, supporting one another through busy days and celebrating the wins together. Everyone's opinion matters here, and there's always someone happy to discuss a case or lend a hand when needed.
- We enjoy a varied caseload, giving you the opportunity to develop your interests while still seeing a good mix of medicine and surgery. You'll have the freedom to work cases up, with support from experienced colleagues whenever you need it.
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
Your week will include a healthy mix of consults and surgery, with the freedom to follow your cases from start to finish. We’re known locally for our dentistry and ophthalmology work, and you’ll have access to visiting specialists and support from a brilliant network of nearby IVC practices.

You are a confident and motivated veterinary surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care. You’ll bring:
- A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development
- Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
