Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Ground Worker/Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with various site preparation and maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth progress. Duties
- Assisting with site clearance, including removing debris and organising materials
- Laying kerbs, path edgings, aco drains
- Assist with the laying of tarmaccadam and resin
- Loading and unloading materials using manual handling equipment or tools
- Supporting skilled tradespeople with their tasks as required
- Maintaining safety standards by keeping the work area clean and hazard-free
- Assisting with the setup and dismantling of site facilities such as barriers and signage
- Operating basic machinery or tools under supervision, subject to training
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or labouring
- Ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy objects safely
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow health and safety procedures
- Basic understanding of site safety regulations is desirable
- A valid UK driving licence
- Over 30 years of age for insurance purposes
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Pay: £14.78-£25.25 per hour
