Trading Assistant

Rate: £13.23 per hour
Location: Nairn Store, Nairn, IV12 5QF
Hours: Part time, 16 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent

Shift hours
The below shift pattern are the times in the week we would like you to be available to work. Your weekly hours will be scheduled 3 weeks in advance within these times.
Monday: 16:00 - 22:00
Wednesday: 16:00 - 22:00
Thursday: 16:00 - 22:00
Friday: 16:00 - 22:00
Saturday: 16:00 - 22:00
Sunday: 16:00 - 22:00

Our stores are fast-paced environments where no two days are ever the same. They are at the heart of the local community providing outstanding value, quality and great service. As one of our Trading Assistants, you’ll be the special ingredient that ensures our stores are set up brilliantly to give our customers everything they come to Sainsbury’s for.

Eligibility:

You must be above the school-leaver age in your country School leaving age - GOV.UK
You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
If the shifts for this role cover hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm, you will need to be at least 18 years of age

What you’ll be doing:

Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish items across the store, keeping our shelves tidy and full of well-presented products
Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help
Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required
