Key Responsibilities Include:
- Welcoming customers/ visitors to the main yard and supporting with loading and unloading requirements
- Working in conjunction with the wider team, to maintain standards (signage, cleanliness, presentation and upkeep of the main site and surrounding buildings)
- Supporting with recycling duties including, segregation and picking of selected materials from a moving conveyor to maximise recycling rates;
- General labouring duties within the yard
- Housekeeping to ensure that the facilities are kept clean, tidy, and free of trip hazards;
- Following site and Company health and safety rules and procedures at all times.
In order to be successful in this role, you must have:
- Ability to work as part of a team, in a fast-paced, busy environment;
- A strong work ethic and punctual;
- Focus and concentration;
- Good communication both written and verbal, to be able to understand and follow instructions and site rules;
- Personal Protective Equipment provided by the Company at all times is worn.
- Safety and environmental awareness, maintain all aspects of Health and Safety pertaining to the relevant work area;
- Knowledge of the waste and metal recycling industries is desirable but not essential; as full training will be given.

- 47.5 hours per week contract, Monday-Friday, 06:30 am-5:00pm;- 1 hr break (unpaid)
