Location: Bury St Edmunds, IP28 8TD
Salary: Competitive
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Standard 45 hours per week, with 1.5 times the hourly pay for overtime.

About the Job

We are S.P. Landscapes & Tree Contractors and we are a long running family business that specialize in all aspects of grounds maintenance, tree work and landscaping for both domestic and commercial clients. We carry out an array of grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, hedge cutting, shrub maintenance and weed control for a number of County, District and Parish Councils, as well as other large commercial organizations. We hold a number of quality and safety accreditations to give our clients peace of mind that they are working with a contractor that they can trust. We are also an equal opportunities employer.

We are looking for further Grounds Maintenance Operative’s to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will need to be reliable, hard-working and work well within a team.

Qualifications Required

As a minimum any applicants must hold a full driving license and the following qualifications:

2 years’ experience in the industry with practical knowledge of equipment including Ride-on Mowers, Strimmer & Hedge Trimmers.

Additional desirable qualifications are;

PA1 Safe Handling & Application of Pesticides
PA6 Application of Pesticides using Hand Held Applicators
Trailer Towing
Level 2 or Level 3 in Horticulture

All Personal Protective Equipment and Health & Safety training to be provided by the company.
